Create a brand that could flex and grow as The Sloth continues to be defined and launched
outer context
First-time founder and fashion enthusiast Namu Park came to us in the midst of building a sustainable fashion resale platform called The Sloth. She wasn’t entirely certain how The Sloth would flex and grow as she built her minimum viable product, but she knew for certain that she wanted to work with us to create a brand that would help inform her business decisions going forward. We created a strategy, designed a visual identity and wrote copy that honored the brand’s eco-friendly roots while still fitting inside the editorially-informed world of fashion.
We paired luxe typography with a fresh color palette, structured lines with natural textures and settings. Our 4-part logo system is flexible and modular, suiting the various applications that The Sloth appears in— packaging, app, website and social. We created an iconography set, inspired by the bold shapes in vintage patterns, to further support the brand going forward.
